Stoke confirm negotiations Cole and Woodgate

Stoke are negotiating to sign West Ham United Carlton Cole striker and former Defender Jonathan Woodgate, the club Tottenham have confirmed.

Cole has been linked with a move to Stoke from relegation hammers of Premier League and an agreement could now completed, for an initial amount of approximately 4.5 million pounds.

Stoke Chairman Peter Coates, said: "Cole is a player the club and Tony pulis has liked him for a long time, we believe that it is a very good player."
