New coach gian piero gasperini Inter said recently he was "optimistic" about the situation of Sneijder, but was less conclusive on where the 27-year-old would be at the end of the window. "It is difficult to know what can happen," he said.

With Sir Alex ferguson for a alternate for Paul Scholes, there has been heavy speculation of a move to Old Trafford with Manchester United Rene Meulensteen coach, labelling him an "ideal" signature.

However, Malaga - who have already invested heavily this summer - are said to have made an offer, with a transfer consultant Ernesto Bronzetti said this week: "a friend who has a chain of restaurants, one near Malaga, which is managed by his brother, confirmed to me that he learned Malaga frames they had made an offer of 35 million euros for Sneijder.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Inter held talks Monday and Tuesday on whether to sell Sneijder, but according to the player agent, no formal bid was introduced at this stage.

"It is not so strange to see the name of Sneijder, linked to the high sides who want to strengthen their squads," Soren Lerby told voetbal International.

"In any case, I think that it is still early for these clubs to act definitively." I can say with certainty is that Wes has a contract until 2015 with Inter and there is nothing concrete at this time. »
