Wigan Athletic Chairman Dave Whelan has revealed that it plans to offer a new deal before Hugo rodallega .
• Interest generalized claims Rodallega
• McLeish happy to do Zogbia
Rodallega, 26, was just a year remaining on his contract and earlier this month, said that he had attracted the interest of the Arsenal, Villarreal, Sevilla and Everton.
However, with Wigan who agreed to sell winger Charles do Zogbia to Aston Villa for 9.5 million to £, Whelan insists that he and Manager Roberto Martinez are determined to maintain Rodallega.
"We will talk to Hugo when he gets in return for the Copa America, and I know he is happy here," Whelan said the wigan evening post. "We want to stay."
"We have not had an offer for Hugo, and I imagine that Roberto will be eager to get something sorted on that one." We do not want to sell, even if - absolutely not. »
evening post also believes the midfielder James McCarthy is in line for an extension to his contract.
